I saw your response to the mani post. There is this stuff called Elon that I use when my nails start peeling. It's about $10 a tube. I have never found it in a local store but some stores can order it for you or you can order through their website (google Elon nail cream, not sure of the actual URL). The main ingredient is lanolin so you could also try a tube of plan old lanolin. Ask a pharmacist for a generic tube. It's OTC but usually found in the baby/nursing area for big $$-and besides, nobody will give you funny looks if it's a generic tube
. You can also try keeping your nails very short and lightly buffing when you get a split or rough flakey bit.
Good luck, the long term peeling is a PITA!
