(I posted this on the D&R board but I'm just so excited I had to share.)
DH found a granite showroom with a remnant piece big enough for our whole kitchen for....... FIFTY DOLLARS. For the whole piece!!!!! Cutting and installation will be about $900 but that is $1000 less than what the Silestone dealer quoted us!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we can definitely do the glass mosaic back splash I wanted since the counters came in 50% under budget!!!!!!

He heard about it from his coworker who was redoing his laundry room. Normally they don't have remnant pieces that are so big so this was an awesome deal to find!! :-)
