I posted this at work and haven't gotten any responses yet.....so I thought I would try over here as well.....
Sorry for the interruption, but I am hoping that someone may be able to help me out with the situation I find myself in. Late summer we took in a stray cat that was pregnant and hanging around our house. Actually, she kind of followed me into the house, so I guess she adopted us! We believe our ex-neighbor left her behind when they moved because she was pregnant. We took her in and tried our best to get her healthy with her kittens, but she ended up losing her kittens due to her health and malnutrition. We have been nursing her back to health and next week she gets her last round of vaccines and then we are getting her fixed soon after. She is a very sweet girl and full of love. She is adorable as you can see from the pictures attached. The vet has told us she is about 5 years old, so she has many more years of love ahead of her. She is fully housebroken, even using the cardboard scratcher and not scratching any of our furniture. She loves to play, loves to cuddle, loves to purr and is perfect in every way. Well almost every way??she has not been able to get along with the two cats that we already have. We have been trying to integrate them, but it has been very unsuccessful so far. We love her very much, but cannot in good conscious keep her if peace cannot be made between the housemates. I have attached a couple pictures of her and would love to find her a home with someone I trust rather then her ending up in a shelter. Please let me know if anyone is interested or knows anyone who may be interested. I will answer any questions anyone may have. We can also provide a "starter" kit for whomever would like her (food bowls, water bowl, litter pan, carrier, litter and food).
Re: Patches Needs a New Home
Awe! Poor Patches. She is cute. It was nice of you to take her in like that. I would love to take her but I already have 4 cats. Good luck finding a home for her. I will keep you in mind if I hear anyone looking for a cat.
I also want to add that if you can't find her a home, I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually got along with your cats. My mom had her newest cat for quite a few months before she started getting along with her male cat.
