Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Made it to work!
So...ummm...I got a text early this morning that my office was going to be opening...that we should try to come in at our usual time if safe. They didn't realize how bad it was. I got up and headed in...my BF drove me in as I would not have made it out of my neighborhood. He went ahead and drove so that he could go to his job after. Well his job closed... We got as far as Buda and slid into a cement barrier on 35. Luckily no damage to the truck, us or anybody else. But we got to S. Congress and there was a part by Sheraton Lane that was uphill and cars were just not making it up. We pulled over and sat in a parking lot (my vet) for an hour. We finally made it in...took us 3 hours to get from Kyle to S. Austin. Things are/were crazy out there!
Definitely very scary out there!
My office later emailed to let us know that they were going to delay opening but I was already stranded at that point and not turning around to go home.

Thankfully, I didn't have to go in until around 2pm today and the roads looked great on the drive. I've gotta be at work at 8:30 tomorrow morning and I'm a tiny bit nervous... but I'm sure they'll be fine
