Valet parking question.

Hello ladies! It's been a while since I've been on this board but here I am needing your expertise.

How much do you tip for valet parking? We are going to dinner tonight at a restaurant that has complementary valet parking. So what would you tip for that? What is your general rule for tipping for parking?

hmmm, I'd say like 3 bucks is our standard?  if it's like 12 degrees out and snowing, I'd probably give like $5.

Honestly, it would depend on the place for us.  I would say our average is $5 though.

This - it does sometimes depend on what I have available - don't always have multiple $1 bills available, so default often to a $5.

Ooh - good question.  I've never actually had my car parked valet, so this is a good tid-bit to keep in my mind if the occasion ever presents itself.  :-)

I feel a little late to the party, but I would also say about $5 as a tip.
