Runners: have you ever tried toesocks?

Like 'em? Hate 'em?

I've been wondering if they might help with a frequently reoccurring between-the-toes blister that I get. But I also wonder if they would feel too bulky, since I'm obviously not used to having any material between the toes.

I guess like anything they would just take some getting used to, but I wanted to see if you all had any opinions on the matter. Smile

Re: Runners: have you ever tried toesocks?

  • I love them! Actually Mrs.Purple raved about them and I got them at the expo for my 1/2 marathon back in October. They are a little hard to get used to but after awhile, they feel great. I know they help with the sweat issues I have in btwn my toes.

    Try them out!

  • I tried them a few years ago and have worn nothing else since!  They're my absolute favorite, and now I wear them to hike and bike in, as well as running.  The problem you're talking about with between-the-toes blisters was the exact reason I tried them out, and I was skeptical because I thought they would feel bunched up or uncomfortable.  But after using them once, I got used to it and now I don't notice any difference from regular socks.  Try them!

  • You're talking about Injiji's. I haven't tried them yet (love my balega's too much) but blisters between the toes could also be shoe related if the socks don't happen to work.
