So, I was inspired by Gretchen's digs (she mentioned she re-painted a lot when she was out of work) and we just picked out paint colors for the bedroom and living room/kitchen.

I've hated the wood paneling since I moved in 5 years ago, so this is a huge upgrade and will brighten the whole apartment. We're going to do a gray/tan called Ocean Pearl in the bedroom (which goes with out brown/gray color scheme) and then a tanish/white in the living room called Navajo white, which will really brighten everything up.

What projects are you dying to do around the house?

We really want to tile the kitchen and dining room and replace the carpet, but it's going to be a while...

We are working on remodelling our master bedroom...we painted it a country blue, called ocean view.  Next we're putting up new ceiling tile and then refinishing the hardwood floor.  It is going to be a lighthouse theme.  Then we're creating a walk in closet in our hall way, which should be a relatively quick project.  Next up is painting the bedroom next to the master for the future nursery...it will be Valspar Ambrosia mist or Timid Absinthe with another accent color and Noah's ark theme...If after all of that we are able to finish our kitchen floor and/or bathroom pre child we'd love to do that!

As I've mentioned in a few posts we are working on getting our TV room redecorated.  Now it is the most hideous color of blue (almost smurf blue!).  We have the paint (color: gray stone), a new area rug, a new couch (bought with wedding $$), new entertainment center and I found the freaking cutest picture today to hang in there.  It matches the rug we bought, has an image of an owl on it and says "Owl love you forever" or something cheesy like that.  I didn't buy it because I am a stickler for getting stuff like that on sale.  We plan on doing the painting 2/12-2/13 so I will PIP after that!
