Suggestions for Valentine's Day
Hi! My H and I are new to California. He's in the AF so we're stationed at Travis. What are some ideas for Valentine's Day around here? I want to save going to Napa and wine for our anniversary. Possibly a day trip? TIA!

Hi and welcome neighbor! I'm at the opposite end of Airbase Pkwy in West Fairfield
There's not a ton of fancy stuff to do in this area. Are you looking for anything specific?
There are a couple good steakhouses, such as Cattleman's in Dixon or The Buckhorn in Winters. Otherwise, there are also a few nice restaurants around, such as Merchant & Main in Vacaville or Cast Iron Grill in Suisun City (not very private seating, but right near the waterfront). Then there are your usual chain restaurants all over.
I don't know if there's anything going on for Valentine's Day, but downtown Fairfield has a comedy club (Pepperbelly's) that might be worth checking out.
If you're willing to drive a bit, I'm sure Sacramento, San Francisco, or Napa would have some nice places to eat at or shows to see.
