Need laptop advice!!!

Im trying to decide on a laptop for my fiance, i have a low budget (preferrably no higher than 700. :/ ) It will mostly be used for gaming, music, and research and maybe writing. I have been looking a lot at the different brands and think i have it narrowed down to a few models i like, however i really cant decide between the brands; Dell, Asus, Toshiba, and possibly hp (however the hp ones i found that i like are on the higher side of my price point, but if it truelly is better i want the best deal i can get...) Help please! >.<

Thanks.

Re: Need laptop advice!!!

  • DH just had a custom-made laptop in Milwaukie for a great price.  He chose a Mac for his new job, but they make PC's, too.  He paid $200 total and it comes with a one-year warranty.

They take an existing laptop and change the processors, ram, etc to suit your needs.  They make computers for gamers, business, just about anything.

I'll get the info from DH (he's OOT - so probably tomorrow) and repost it here for you.

Add: I should also add that my laptop is a store-bought Toshiba.  It's held up longer than any other computer I've had.  My last laptop was a Dell and I would not purchase another one.
