    This is definitely one of those situations where I don't think you'll know what works for you until you get the kid home.  DS refused to sleep in either the PNP or the bassinet that we bought him.  He preferred his car seat or his swing.  I never could have known that before bringing him home.  Everyone's experience is different. 

    Jen, if you want to co-sleep with the baby in the bed, but worry about rolling over on the baby, you could try one of these:

    This is what I used with DD and it worked great for those first few months.  At the end of he day, though, it's obviously all about what works for you and the baby.

    I hope she's not picky, but I'll just deal with it as the need arises. :) Thanks for all the great advice, everyone!! You guys are the best!! I love this little bassinet thingy.
