PHR Exam

If you took it are there any good lecture prep series. I bought a study guide, but I do much better listening than reading to learn material.

Re: PHR Exam

  • I just passed my SPHR....part of my study plan was Distinctive HR Audio CDs.  I converted them to MP3 files...loaded them on my ipod....and listened during my commute.

I don't think they would be enough to pass but I liked the audio and it helped with lots of tips & tricks.

  • I would be interested to know if there are any also!  Did you buy the study guide that is sold on the shrm website or something else.  I was planning to buy this but I didn't know if that would be enough to pass the test or if there was something additional that would be helpful!

  • I passed exam last year.  I used the Anne Bogardus book and SHRM books my company purchased. Both had CD's and case studies included in them.  I studied with some friends and we found as many free exam questions as we could and took them.  That way we could get used to answering the questions.

  • I passed last January and used only the SHRM learning system
