Hi ladies. We have a garden flag pole, but our flag constantly blows off it. Any suggestions on how to keep it on the post? We've lost too many flags lol
Re: Garden flag pole?
Is it just an arm that sticks out and the flag sleeve fits over the arm and hangs vertically? I would just poke a small hole or two in the flag along the side closest to the upright pole and put some zip ties through it to secure to the poll.
If it is an old school type with a rope, I'm not sure.
It's like this, but without the curvy top part that would keep the flag from flying away.
Your link/photo doesn't work, but I found it. Where the vertical pole goes down into the ground - along that side of the flag, poke some holes in the flag with a knife or pair of scissors. Put some zip ties through the holes and secure it to the vertical part of the pole. Your flag may still come off of the arm, but it won't fly away.
