Need some good vibes
I sent our new CEO (deceased boss's daughter) an email to see if we can chat on Friday about the possibility of me working from home again. She's much more laid back and is a "rainbows and unicorns" type of person. I hope she's receptive to me making the switch again.
Since DH has to go in later than I do, we can't drive together. Right now we're spending $120-140 a week on gas. I also have a much harder time focusing in the office because of all the other stuff going on. Since my job is reading boring records all day and making sense of them, being able to concentrate is kind of a big thing. Plus I worked from home for 9 months with no problems, so I don't see why it would be a problem now. Fingers crossed!

$120-$140 a week on gas! That's a ton!
No kidding. 41 miles each way means we're both filling up twice a week. At $3 a gallon we easily spend between $60-70 each on gas.
