Diatomaceous earth for weight loss
This lady at work was talking about how she is taking diatomaceous earth and said she has lost 12 pounds in a month. She has more energy but non jittery & sleeps better. It show that it helps with diabetes, high bloodpressure, lowers cholesterol, sore joints (she has since recently stopped taking her pain meds), healthier skin, healthier hair. I just wondered if anyone else has taken this or has heard of it and if you have what has your experience been with it. It is not FDA approved but is ordered from the USA. I was thinking about ordering this but not sold...sounds too good to be true.
We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love
Re: Diatomaceous earth for weight loss
I think this says it all. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

The only time I have heard of DE is for treatment of bed bugs and that it isn't safe for treatment when you have pets or small children because they can eat/inhale it.
So...you want to eat an insecticide?
Cocaine is natural and can cause weight loss, too.

Yes, I remember this discussion. I believe that the "Food Grade DE" is not approved by the FDA, but by the USDA to use as a dewormer for livestock. Bottom line, I sure as heck wouldn't purposely eat it.
