Completely freaked out!

Hey everyone, I just found out that I'm pregnant and am completely freaking out.  I have two boys, 3 & 2 and sometimes they're more than I can handle.  I am only 4 weeks so it's very new and I know I'll need to get used to the idea but needed to come on and vent.  Is it normal to be so scared, I could cry right now.  I just told my parents and I can just tell they're thinking - you're crazy!

Re: Completely freaked out!

  • Congratulations!  Yes, I would say that what you're feeling is normal - but it will all be okay.  A new baby to love is a blessing.
  • Very  normal!

There are a few Nesties who are in your shoes.  Weddingbelle is pregnant with her 3rd, ktspj just had twins (making 4) and macey's 3 kids are all within a year or so of each other.  Definitely lean on us.  There are plenty who can relate.

    Congratulations!  All will be fine!

  • This happened to my SIL her 2 boys were 2 and 3 when she found out she was pregnant and her boys are animals.  The third turned out to be a boy and luckily he is a very easy baby.

    good luck!

Second, I'm sure you are freaked out and nervous right now, but it will work out in the end.

  • First, congratulations!!

Second, it's totally normal to be freaked out. I FLIPPED when I found out I was pregnant, and that was my first!! We were charting to avoid (which actually was working for months, but DH decided to throw caution to the wind one day, and well...) so when I got the BFP I lost it. But now I have my incredible beautiful son and wouldn't change anything!!

It will all work out as it should, very best of luck to you!!

Absolutely normal to be totally freaked out! Hell we were trying to get pregnant with our second and I still freaked out when it happened!!!!!

First - you have 9 months to prepare. Second - YAY!!! a baby!!!!!! Third - it will be absolutely crazy and insane but your other 2 will be older by then so every bit helps.

H&H 9 months to you and please come on and vent away!!!

  • First, congratulations!  And second, it's totally normal to be freaked out.  But I will say that my daughter was born when my son was 3yrs 3mos which is roughly where you youngest will be and it was absolutely PERFECT.  Seriously we could not have planned it better.  :)  It will all be okay!
  • Thank you so much everyone, I'm trying to relax!  Hearing from all of you has really helped!
