Funny remark about the Ebb-Tide! Matt liked that NOTHING had been updated in decades so he didn't notice the coffee. Plus, the only coffee he has ever liked in BBH was the Townsend Ave place that has closed. As I said, he's a snob. :-P

Haha- if there's one thing that can be said about Ebb Tide, it's that nothing has EVER changed, waitstaff included! I swear, the same four ladies have been working there, with the occasional new talent making a cameo. We'll have to make that an event for the next time you come up to visit!
I agree that Townsend Ave. had the best coffee in town- I was completely devistated when they had to close their doors! I miss Lyle and Todd, their delicious coffee and super tasty foods. Mama D's is a close second, although I haven't been there in a while (and they were closed last time!) so you'll have to have Matt inspect it next time.

Oh, so the first time we went into Mama D's? Matt panicked a bit because all he saw was the flavored coffees and decaf. Luckily, I found the carafe that was his nice, regular, fully-caffeinated coffee. ;-)
