Relocating to Atlanta
Hello Georgia Nesties!
My husband and I are getting ready to relocate to the Atlanta area from Knoxville, TN and are wondering about the nice and safe neighborhoods. His job will be in Dunwoody but we are open to living anywhere in North metro Atlanta. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated! TIA!

Biggest rule in Atlanta, live where you work. Dunwoody is a great area so I would try my hardest to stay there. If you want to go north Roswell is also a really nice area as well as Alpharetta but again, I wouldn't get too far from his job.

Do you plan on this being your settling down to have kids house? If so then I agree with Dunwoody, Roswell etc (ie. the 'burbs and OTP). If you have no plans for kids for a few years and you want to be close to shopping, nightlife, festivals, etc then look ITP. There are great areas easy to get to Dunwoody (no interstates required) that are affordable (parts of Buckhead, parts of Brookhaven, etc).
