Radio Stations

What is your favorite Phx area radio station?  I need some suggestions.  Someone gave me an alarm clock radio and I've been using it in the bathroom to listen to music in the mornings.  First station I found is in Tucson.  I don't listen to the radio all that often until now, so I'm not sure what's out there anymore.

Re: Radio Stations

  • I listen to 104.7 Kiss FM or 98.7 The Peak.

  • 104.7, 101.5, or 98.3 if I'm in the mood for hip/hop or pop

97.5, 99.9, or 96.9 if I'm in the mood for alternative, or 90s music

102.5 or 107.9 if I'm in a country mood! (rare, but it happens!)

    Hope that helps!

  • I have satellite radio, but listen to 102.5 and 104.7. If you've never listened to 104.7 in the morning you may enjoy them. Johnjay and Rich, although their old show format was SO much better! They're still good, but way too many commercials and music now.

Oh and I also agree about JJ&R! They still crack me up though...does anyone else find themselves cringing on the War of the Roses and Second Date Update segments? I get so embarrassed for the people on there! haha

  • i mostly listen to KTAR - I love me some talk radio. I started listening to KTAR when I would drive 130 miles round trip for work and I needed something to keep me awake. Listening to talk radio makes me feel like I'm a part of a converstation. Lame? Probably... lol

    Other stations I listen to... 104.7, 97.5, 101.5, 96.9, 98.7, 102.5, 107.9

Sometime's I'll tune to 9.99 then I'll tune to 95.5 if I want the kids to fall asleep. lol.
