Health & Fitness Wednesday
Well, fitness wise, im still sucking. I'm trying to focus more on my mental health right now. Going to check with my insurance regarding counseling coverage and if they don't cover anything, i'll just go to my priest to talk about some stuff. Does anybody know if there's a specific type of counseling for families of cancer patients? I think i'm going to ask my Dad's dr when i go to his appt on Friday.

Re: Health & Fitness Wednesday
Still doing my same gym routine...getting there at least 3x a week. Eating habits haven't changed any so that sucks and not helping me see any progress.
Todays Living Social deal for Boston is a $75 b-pic session that I'm seriously considering buying. It's half price and would totally give me some motivation to get moving on getting in shape.
Kim - I found this....not sure if it's what you're looking for but might be a start.
St. Francis Cancer Support Groups
Kim, have you looked around your community for a local support group? In my area we have the Gilda's Club for cancer patients and their families. I googled Connecticut cancer support groups and found this: http://www.cancercare.org/about_us/contact_us/connecticut.php Or maybe try cancer.org?
I did jm 30ds Sunday and Monday and will be doing p90x yoga tonight. That's pretty good for me! Unfortunately, with the storm and big drop in temps, I still haven't been able to ride much. Fingers crossed that this weekend is warmer (30s woo-hoo) like they say it's going to be!
Today should be day 7 of "30 day shred". I missed Sat, so it's only day 6, I'm still happy with that though. 6/7 days!
I have noticed more strength.
According to a webiste I found, the proper way to do the 30 day shred is to do each level for 10 days. I am not sure if I can move up in a few days, but I think I will give it a try.
Last week I was good with exercising daily for at least an hour. Saturday was a bad day food wise and I did not exercise. I have been exhausted lately so I have not exercised but I have been watching my food intake since Monday especially b/c I am not exercising.
