We have a deposit into our account listed as "AUTOMATED CREDIT US TREASURY EC S EC RESIDUA" for about $20. I googled around and I'm still not sure what it's for. A few sources say it could be tax-related, but we haven't done our taxes yet.
Another source linked it to the EagleCash card. K did use that card while deployed and he did have money left on it that he was told he would be reimbursed for, but he came back home last May. We just kind of figured it was a lost cause. He doesn't remember how much was left on the card, it wasn't much.
Has anyone else had any experience with this kind of deposit or just the Eagle card? I know it's only 20 bucks, I just want to know where it came from.
Re: Money Question
.
Ok, straight from the horses mouth:
"How will I know my refund was processed?
Monitor the bank/credit union account you linked your EagleCash
card to. Look for an entry that contains the following text: ?US Treas
- EagleCash Residual? along with the associated date and amount
of the transaction."
