So the u/s from the RE showed no signs of my cysts bursting or anything abnormal. However, the pain was so extreme during the u/s that I was sobbing. I seriously felt like someone was stabbing me through the entire thing. It completely sucked. However, the RE basically stated that if we haven't started steps toward TTC, we should do it now. He wrote me a script for a PNV and told me to start taking it immediately. I also got a script to ease the pain. Both obgyn and RE stated that my endometriosis could be back and it is up to me whether or not I want to do a Lap. I'm going to try and make it a month. If the pain doesn't go away, then we will schedule.
I'm actually pretty bummed. I know I should be happy that they didn't find anything wrong, but the fact that I'm still in pain and they can't find anything is discouraging. I just want to feel better and for all of this to go away.
As for TTC, we both agreed tonight that September 2012 is a good fate to start. It gives my body enough time to get itself together and for us to prepare financially and complete any short term goals we wanted before having kids.
Just wanted to keep you guys in the loop.

Re: f/u going to the doc
I'm sorry you feel this way but I can understand. It can be frustrating when they keep ruling out the bad stuff but the problem still isn't fixed. I hope you start to feel better soon and can get some real answers!

I'm very glad that it wasn't a cyst or any sort of rupture. That is excellent for your internal systems, even if the endo is back. I have been in your shoes sobbing because of endo swelling. Particularly if you've moved to stage 3 and you have adhesions to both an internal organs and your abdominal wall, I can tell you, it isn't super pleasant. You're also risking tubal damage if you let it go on. The only solution is surgery.
I've come to accept laps every 24 months as a consistent part of my life. It is what it is. They'll get more frequent the longer it takes us to conceive. I carry strange little fat pockets on either side of my 3 incisions I can only attribute to scar tissue, but all things considered if they can do it laproscopically, then you're good.
As far as TTC, it is scary as hell, and I don't feel like we're 100% ready, but guess what? My RE says realistically I have til I'm 30 to carry a successful pregnancy. She says the risks of maternal or fetal death after that because of the damage- scar tissue from surgery or adhesions from endo- will be too high. I'm 25 and 8 months. If it is important to me to have a biological child, I don't get to wait. I'd strongly urge you to consider the same, especially with what your doctor said.
If you have adhesions that are to stage 3, you're incurring blood sharing with your vessels in your organs. And this makes every surgery more dangerous. If you have a lap now, you'll probably need another one by the time you plan to TTC in 2012. That gives you 6-12 months of clear TTC (your first 2 cycles after your lap are also your most fertile and most likely to lead to uncomplicated pregnancies because you haven't had the cycles to reform adhesions) before you need another one (if you have a conservative doctor like I do). If you've been on BCP as long as I have, 12 months is probably what it will realistically take to conceive naturally, if you're able to do it on your own. That's 3 surgeries, at the least, before a baby. 3 anesthesias, 3 blood vessel cauterizations, 3 wall scrapings.
:-( I'm worried for you. If you ever need to talk, please feel free to email, pm, whatever me. Unfortunately I feel like a damned expert on this subject- I guess that's what happens when you've been dealing with it half of your life.

Mary, what's your email addy?
I'm so sorry. I can totally understand how discouraging and frustrating not knowing what is causing the pain could be. Hopefully things can come together in your home life to allow for TTC to be sooner than later. I totally get the desire to wait for it as well. It is a tough spot to be in now.
