She had an accident last night at about 1am. In her sleepy daze, she had no clue what had happened and freaked out. She was screaming that she was hurt, and even yelled, "Don't touch me!!!" through her tears. We gave her lots of hugs and kisses and reassured her. Dad cuddled her while I changed her bottom sheet. Then with a short bedtime song, she fell back asleep. But in her hysteria, she woke up Kyle. He wasn't as easy to console. I ended up changing and nursing him, then put him down and let him CIO for about 20 minutes before he finally settled down for the night again. Shannon slept through his cries though. PHEW!
Today has been a whole new day. Shannon went through a majority of the morning wearing the same pair of underwear that I put her in at 1am. She was able to call me this morning when she woke up and made it to the potty without a problem. She didn't have even the slightest bit of dampness until 11:20am. We ate lunch, she was fine. And, then just now, she told me she had to go, and wanted to sit on the toilet rather than the potty chair. She did #2!!
I am oh so very proud of my little girl.... I mean, my BIG girl!

That is awesome! I'm really impressed with the night training too. We haven't even started to go there with DS...
Keep up the great work, Shannon!
Accident again last night, but minus the huge freak out. Thankfully we have 3 comforter sets that fit her bed, and lots of sets of sheets!
But, today I had to run a quick errand, and she was great in the truck. When we got there, we had to wait, and she had to go to the bathroom. She did #2 in the bathroom at the office!!! I think it's pretty safe to say that she's pretty well daytime trained. Woo-hoo!
