Re: savannah, ga
I recently moved to ATL and I haven't been to Savannah yet, but my co-worker told me to stay here. He said if you stay in a rental home it's cheaper than a hotel and usually a lot nicer. GL!

I'm from Tybee, just outside of Savannah. A few hotels down there, nothing too special. Downtown historic Savannah has a ton of places to stay- AVIA, Westin, the Bohemian, Mansion at Forsyth, plus plenty chains- Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt, Doubletree, Radisson, etc and a few B&Bs.
It's a really beautiful and historic city (and haunted). You can take ghost tours, trolley tours, walk River Street and City Market, visit Ft Jackson and Ft Pulaski, go to the beach, climb the lighthouse, take a dolphin tour- lots to do.
Check the travel board- there have been a few posts in the last couple weeks about SAV.
