aww, i just ruined my valentine's present :(
JJ and I agreed to no valentine's gifts this year because we're really saving up hardcore so I can take a full 3 months unpaid maternity leave. Well I just pulled up the credit card statement and there's a charge to target for $25 and change. Ok I can't remember if I did, but here's a C&P from when I posted it a while back
My husband would KILL me if he knew I was sharing this... lol.At Whole Foods, they have the Lindt truffles for a quarter near the checkout. I grabbed a dark chocolate one and added it to the conveyor belt, and DH asked what they were so I said a chocolate truffle, you want one? He said yes, so I got a white chocolate one for him since he loves white chocolate. So we get in the car and each pop our truffle in our mouths. He didn't know the center was a ganache-goo like substance, so when he chomped down the white gooey center burst from his mouth and ran down his cheek and chin.I started hysterically laughing and told him it looked like he just gave a very messy BJ. He didn't think it was funny. At all.So for Valentine's Day, I'm getting him a bag of the white chocolate Lindt truffles

Ashlee- I think Brittjoy's idea (or some variation...) is spot on. In the past DH has broken the "no gift" rule because he really wanted to surprise me and do something special and when I got him a gift he was bummed.
