Need some MAJOR T&P's
So I volunteer with a group that works with teen moms, and last night, I found out there's a girl my director is working with that is 15 and looking to put her baby up for adoption! I started speaking with my director and a few of the girls friends who thought that DH and I would be a perfect fit!
OMG, this is just SO surreal. There are so many varriables in play- 1) if she will chose to adopt, she wants to but her mom, not so much, and since she's 15, that's a big "what if". 2) we haven't met yet, we'd have to meet and such first.
BUT omg, the fact that we *might* have a birth mom, I'm just so amazed! AND the kicker- she's 7 months pregnant! 3 months people!
So, if you could pray for the birth mother- she's making such a life changing decision right now, and pray for the health of the baby.
I'm still in shock- but so excited for what God may have planned for this little life!

Jenn that would be awesome, I will definitely pray for that! I pray it all goes smoothly and that she would allow you to adopt the LO.

Adoption can be a tricky thing, keep praying but I hate to say it, you have to be real about the fact that it may not work out. I would hate for you to have such heartache after being so excited.

2 months! I will pray for you guys, but like Christina said, be prepared for the worst. She is young and her mother seems very involved and that may influence her decision. I hope she does whats best for her. And I love that you are adopting! I'm adopted and it's great to hear when other people choose to go down that bath to give a baby a great home!

Well, you know that I have had every body part of mine crossed for you since you told me! I really, really hope this works out for you guys. If not, I KNOW that there will be children in your future, but I am praying for this for you like you have no idea (and you know I don't pray - so that's huge for me).
