I was excited to see you reply in KatieBride's post. Oddly enough, I was thinking about you last night and wondering how you are. Glad to see you have a new bf, I'm sure it's exciting to be dipping your toe in the dating pool. How is life treating you otherwise?

I've been busy at work. UBER busy. I hardly get on the Nest anymore because of this ::sniff::
I still love my new house.
I started dating a guy in October. I've known him for over a year. He was going through a divorce about the same time I was, & we related to each other on a lot of levels...& he likes cleaning as much as I do. I am not used to someone trying to beat me home to surprise me by doing the dishes & vaccuming. I didn't think guys like him existed in real life; I'm dating a unicorn.
DEX is doing good. He's been seeing someone about as long as I have. She's really nice. We still hang out, & have all the same mutual friends as before.Though it wasn't fun, the divorce was a good thing for both of us. We were frustrating each other to death by being ourselves & not admitting that we weren't what the other needed. We've both learned to let go of a lot of little things, & I think we're both wiser becaue of it.
...& I'm happy. Happier than I've been in years

I'm glad to hear you're doing good laud! And while I don't know the whole sorry about your DEX, I give you kudos for being able to be civil and friendly towards each other. I think that's pretty awesome
