WWYD - hostess gift related

Tonight I'm going to my first local Nestie book club.  I've never met any of the girls before, but a few PMed me and suggested I join the group.

They meet every other month at someone's place and the hostess supplies appetizers and guests BYOB.

So, my question is, should I bring 2 bottles of wine, one for me and one for hostess?  Or is it okay to just bring one?

Eek, I'm excited but nervous too!

If you're planning on drinking a whole bottle, then I would take two.  Assuming you aren't, I would just take one.

I'd side-eye someone who brought a whole bottle of wine for herself to my house, so I'd just go with the one. I'm sure you won't be the only one who brings wine, so I'd imagine there will be plenty to go around.

Tisha/all- I'll let you know how it goes!  I figure it's a decent way to meet some new people as we primarily hang out with high-school friends and a few college now (both of our companies have older employees who don't really "do" social events)
