Moms who have night-trained... (sorry for my potty mouth)

Quick question:

If your child was having frequent predictable bed wettings, did you start waking your child to help them ge to the bathroom on time, or did you have some other method? Trying to see what may or may not have worked.

Re: Moms who have night-trained... (sorry for my potty mouth)

  • I oddly enough didn't have to night train Em, weird I know. But I do know a lot of people who would take their child to the bathroom right before they themselves went to bed.  Depending on when you go to sleep it could work out.
  • Shannon has been hit or miss about staying dry all night, and that's kind of what I figured I might have to do. Just wanted to get some feedback from moms who've been there. Thanks Erin!

  • All I have to say is that Christian is STILL in pull ups at night.....

  • Maddie is still in Pull Ups most nights.  She stays dry some nights and not others.  We were using underwear and she woke up soaked half the time, so we switched back.  She will do it when she is ready.
  • I would honestly wait until she seems ready and is consistantly dry in the morning.  Ethan had dry Pull ups for several weeks so we made the switch some time in Dec, never wet the bed since.  He goes straight to the bathroom when he gets up and doesn't have anything to drink past dinner.  Now if only he could be like this during the day!
