This is totally random and please don't hesitate to say no if you are uncomfortable with the idea.

H and I are planning on taking a 4-day weekend to tour Peoria in June. We'll be looking for a place to rent and possibly checking out daycares as well. We were wondering if you (and your SO) would be interested in showing us around a bit. It'd be great to have someone who knows something about the area to guide us.

Like I said though, if it's not something you are comfortable with, please say so. Talk it over with your SO and let me know. We've got plenty of time still to make plans if you decide to do it. Thanks!

I asked DH if he was open to this idea and he was like "okay, sure." I was expecting more of a "you've never met this person and want to MEET her?" craziness response, but no.

PM me when it gets closer and we can work out some logistics.

That's what I was expecting from H too. I was like, "Well, you know that nestie who gave me the info on neighborhoods and all that good stuff? What would you think about meeting up with her?" "Oh yea, maybe she can show us around so we don't waste our weekend and it'll give you a friend in the area too. We could do dinner or something wit them to get to know each other!" We have such great husbands!
