Okay....so it really is a very minor thing but I'm still exciting...I get to go on my first college recruiting trip next week! Ohio State at that! Yes...I know I sound like a dweeb being excited about it...but it's a step in the right direction. I've been wanting to get more into the recruiting/hiring side of things eventually isntead of supportin all aspects of HR. With the rapid growth of this company (and i may have already mentioned this prevously) I've already made mention of the direction I'd like to go if we get to the point we need to hire more people in HR. Promotions are usually year end and I know with baby coming in June, I may be getting a little ahead of myself...but I've got a bit of a goal in mind! And...given that I volunteered to go along Friday, that made the one person I'm trying to impress very happy that I'm showing that initiative. Go me!
