Seriously, I'm pretty sure that my grandmother is in better shape than me. On top of having all of my OB/Gyn issues and being in pain from that, when H and I went to leave for our Valentine's Day weekend getaway I threw out my back. No joke.
I was putting my owner's manual back in my car and doing nothing strenuous, and yet, searing pain was sent throughout my back and legs. I felt numb. H noticed and tried to ease the situation (God love him..) by joking, "Well, at least your ovaries don't hurt anymore!" At that moment, he was right, too. Your body can only focus on one area of pain at a time, really and my back had front row seats at that moment.
But, after our weekend (which was great, we spent time in Philadelphia, visited our nephew, and went to a nice Italian dinner), my body can't decide which hurts worse, my OB/Gyn situation or my back, so I'm currently sitting upstairs in bed while the rest of the family is downstairs having dessert. My back hurt too much to continue to sit on a wooden chair. I feel like my body is falling apart on me and I still have to go to work tomorrow ![]()
I apologize in advance. My posts have been incredibly whiny and annoying lately. I'll try to get over it for next time.
Re: How did I become 107-years old suddenly?
Jesus, that sucks. I'm sorry. At least you and your H had a sense of humor about it. Sadly, that's all you can do sometimes.
Hope you feel better (everywhere)!
