Worst baby name EVER

DH and I are gearing up for my surgery in a few months, and then we'll be TTC, so I was doing some daydreaming today and looking at babynames.com.  I think I may have come across the stupidest of all stupid baby names...are you ready??

ABCDE.  Seriously.  That's it.  Someone apparently actually named their kid ABCDE, pronounced "Ab-si-dee".  Please tell me this is a joke.

The obvious "urban legend" names aside (Orangelo and Lemonjello, Vagina pronounced "Va-Jeen-a", etc.) what's the most awful name you've ever heard for a kid?

Judge and Major.  Not that those are so horrible on their own, but when combined with their last name it is just awful.  Their last name is Dykes.  So yeah.  Judge Dykes and Major Dykes.  I'm not joking.  I really know these people.

Uh I don't know how people can be so cruel to their children.  I think that is the worst that I have heard.

That's a really stupid name lol!

Besides that, the worse name I've heard was Pilot Inspektor (yes, spelled like that). Jason Lee, the guy in My Name is Earl, named his kid that. Ugh.

I dont understand what people are thinking when they choose wacko names. I am all for different names but names that are just going to get your kid made fun of are awful.

This was not a baby, but in her line of work my sister runs across some interesting names....the one that had me in tears laughing: Delicious Bush.

OMG...that just reminded me of another terrible name.  This was a patient when I was a medical assistant...ok, his last name alone was bad enough...it was C*ntlip, I kid you not...so does someone want to tell me why, of all the names you could give your child, this poor guy's parents wanted to name him Harry?

hahaha that is horrible!!!  I thought Delicious Bush was bad!

With mom being a teacher, we've heard several. She's had a Thunder (male), Jesabelle (male), and there's a kid a few classrooms down named Le-a (pronounced "Ledasha"). When asked how to pronounce her daughter's name, the mom informed the teacher "the dash isn't silent".

I knew a couple who had twin boys named Breyton and Sagan (pronounced SAY-gun).  Not my style, but not terrible...until the day the names came out of mom's mouth all flip-flopped, and she wound up calling her poor son Satan in front of his play group...oops!

Here's a few more gems.  One of my best friends is a teacher .  She has lots of first generation Americans & illegal aliens in her class, and apparently with limited knowledge of the English language the parents often just pick names that sound pretty to them, without realizing the meaning.  She had an Anus (pronounced Ah-noos) and a Chlamydia (pronounced Klah-mi-dye-ah).

We have an advisor that we work with, his name is Rusty Hood.  I think it's hysterical every time he calls in.

One of my father's friends and the sheriff for our town is named Michael Hunt and he goes by Mike. His campaign signs were hilarious "Vote Mike Hunt for Sheriff"
