Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

We're having company this weekend
Although I'll be really happy to see our friend, I'm a bit concerned about the circumstances. P got a text from friend (G) last week asking if we had plans because he would like to come and visit. G lives in Chicago and has a wife and 2 kids. We typically only see him once or twice a year and he was just here near the end of November. P and I are both pretty concerned that he is having marital problems.
I made P call G last week and check in on him. He said that everything was fine and that he just needed to get away. The weird part of that is that we have another mutual friend who lives with walking distance of G and they are actually much closer than P and G. The other mutual friend is single and lives alone.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this but I have a feeling that something is wrong. Am I insane?

I can see why you would think that; I probably would read that same thing if it were me.
But, it could be that he likes you & P better, so that's always an option.
Maybe there is a little trouble, but as I'm sure you know, all you can do is ask and if G says he's okay, then just wait to see if he comes around & is ready to talk.
Its nice that he has you guys to count on, regardless.
