Thankful Tuesday
I will kick us off because I am very thankful today!
I officially got a promotion and 15% raise that I have been hoping for for months!
My boss took me to lunch yesterday and said lots of nice and encouraging things, which is always nice to hear. It has been a very stressful 6 months at work and I have been working 60 hour weeks to meet deadlines. It is nice to feel appreciated, and the extra $$ each pay check won't be too bad either!

Congrats that is awesome!! It's nice to hear of positive job stories in this craptastic economy.
I am thankful to have friends with boats that are taking us out this weekend now that it's finally feeling like Florida is supposed to outside!
Congrats on the raise n praise!! How awesome is that!
I'm thankful that DH and I had the weekend alone and celebrated all weekend long. Also I'm thankful that he's doing laundry today, and is taking my car in for a minor cosmetic repair this week. He's been great esp lately!!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Laur - I have always wanted to live in a brownstone too! I remember when I was in 2nd grade and lived in the city. One of my friends lived in a brownstone and I was always amazed at everything (I lived in a small 2 BR apartment with my parents, so the stairs alone were pretty impressive).
Oh, and how are you feeling? I might have missed an update but I guess if you were up and walking around you are doing well?
Woohoo for pay raises!
I am thankful that DH lets me just be upset sometimes and doesn't always try to fix whatever is wrong. Most of the time it can't be fixed, but I just want a while to be mad about it!
I am thankful that we (as a board) can have a friendly disagreement about something and solve our issues without anyone getting really mad or offended.
BTW fantastic news about the promotion! Thats so exciting and a raise is ALWAYS appreciated!
Oh I know! So pretty and the ones that have the flowering vines and whatnot going up the front. SO nice. I'm always so curious how they decorate!

I'm thankful that we booked 2 trips to NY this year (both free with frequent flyer miles)! We are going to Albany and the Adirondacks in late May and NYC in mid-Sept! It's been a while since this CA girl has been out east!

I thought this same thing all day today.
I am thankful for some pontential good things happening in the somewhat near future for us. I'm not ready to share yet because I don't want to jinx anything, but I will let you know when they do happen.
I am also thankful that DH did not have to work late last night, so we could have dinner together at home. It's been a while since we've done that.
