Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I have to AW myself a bit.

Well, the accountability posts didn't last long, but I have still been writing down what I eat everyday and working out for at least an hour. Since I bought the Wii Fit Plus (and real scales) on January 23rd, I have lost 10 lbs. Yay! I know I lost a little bit before that, but we didn't own any scales so I don't really know what I started out at. I kind of doubt the Wii Fit is really that helpful, but the games are actually pretty fun. And I started using myfitnesspal.com and got the ticker below. It is really great to track calories and such.

  • Congratulations! That's awesome!

    I was doing pretty well...was down almost 8. But then over the last two weeks, I gained 4 back. *sigh.* I'm trying to see it as a minor setback (rather than a complete derailment) and am trying harder this week. I'm tracking my food and workouts daily, my weight weekly, and my measurements (waist, hips, upper thigh, upper arm) monthly. I just use an Excel spreadsheet.

    I'm pretty sure I've been gaining the past month. Apparently being laid off is not good for your weight.

    I've used fitday.com for years and it is amazing how much of a difference just honestly writing down what you eat and how much you exercise makes. It kind of makes you re-evaluate if you want that Snickers bar or that apple. LOL!
