I don't know if I'd be alarmed, but I'd definitely give them the side eye. Surely, there's an easy listening station they could play.
When I had to go to the emergency clinic for my diverticulitis, I sat in the patient room for about 2 hours while they were doing a CT scan and giving me IVs. The whole time the tv was playing Mystery Diagnosis. I watched 3 episodes, 6 cases. Not exactly the best thing to be watching at the time!

when i had my colonoscopy they were playing "only the good die young" and i was like...this should not be played at a doctor's office! haha.
