I thought a closed adoption meant the birth mom didn't know who the family was? Things may have changed though since my parents adopted me.

Ya, a traditional closed adoption does mean that. However I guess in her terms, shell pick the family, but then that's it. She doesn't want to see/hold the baby at birth, doesn't want updates, etc. So a non-open adoption I guess.

Thank you so much ladies! DH and I are being cautiously optimistic, but if she picks us all I have to do is pick purchase on my amazon.com cart! I'm looking forward to our informal meeting this evening, and hopefully setting up a formal meeting this weekend. We appreciate your prayers greatly!!
