Good belly/stretch mark cream?
I need it by tomorrow (no online orders) for one of our YL girls. Any recs?
Re: Good belly/stretch mark cream?
Is she using it on stretch marks already there or trying to prevent them?
If they are already there, get vitamin E cream, it works GREAT to reduce redness. I used it on my scar after back surgery and it's pretty white now.
If it's for preventing, unfortunately, nothing will prevent them. If you're going to get them, they will come no matter what you put on your belly. :-/
When I was pregnant with my son I drank George's Aloe Vera Juice everyday to heal from the inside out. I also would put aloe gel on my belly, St. Ives collagen elastin lotion all over my body, and the Palmer's massage cream for stretch marks.
They say that stretch marks are genetic. If your mom got them you will get them. My mom got them something fierce with me and eventually got a tummy tuck because of it. Needless to say I was terrified! But I am happy to report that I did not get a single stretch mark from my pregnancy with my son.
Thanks ladies- I went with the Palmers. She LOVED it!
I think she's more looking for something to soothe the skin, so I think that will work well!
Stacy- thanks for the rec on vitamin E. I have a horrible scar from my knee surgery that I'm totally trying this on!
You're welcome. It's awesome and will take any of the pinkness away. Let me know how you like it.
