does anyone here sew with green fabrics? I am new to sewing but plan on making some things for my friend's future baby and mine eventually and would like to make them in fabrics that are green. What did you look for? where did you get them? were they super expensive?
Thanks!!

Re: green fabrics
I've bought a few things from Near Sea Naturals online. Also, a local fabric store near me carries organic fabric. It is a bit more expensive but I guess that's the trade off.
You could also look at Goodwill and places like that and turn sheets or other clothes into something new. I've seen some cute kid's dresses made out of pillowcases on blogs. Here are a few ideas for girl's clothes and it looks like there's a link at the top of the page for boy's clothes. http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=212
