Hey ladies,
My family (with two young kids) is moving to Fort Worth this summer! We're excited because we've heard wonderful things about the area. Any advice about where to look for houses? We want to live someplace safe, with good schools, and a family/community feel. We aren't fans of new subdivisions a we like smaller homes. Our budget is around 150,000. Any advice? Thanks in advance!
Re: Moving to FW! Help!
Give Graham a call. He's a great guy and an amazing realtor! He can find you whatever you want.

I would recommend Aledo, Keller, Grapevine areas....they all have great schools and communities.
Check out Benbrook as well.
You may want to look a bit on what your work commutes will be. While google maps might say 8 miles, it might take longer during the morning and evening rush hours.
I work in Grapevine, and, unless you find a good foreclosure, I don't know how much there is out there in your budget.
There are some older homes in Hurst-Euless-Bedford (HEB) and they have a pretty good school district. You could give a look at Roanoke and Keller but Keller is definitely lots of new homes. However there are some older homes around--you'll just have to look for them.
Welcome to DFW!
