Motivation (I hope) as promised!

First of all, I just want to say congrats to all the girls that are pregnant! I'm so mad I have been missing this!! I'm so happy for you all!

Weight loss: (Most I'm sure you've heard before but stick with it, it works) First of all I would personally suggest sparkpeople.com because it is the only thing keeping me on track. On this website you type in your foods and serving sizes and it calculates the calories, protein, sugars, and carbs for you. I make it my personal goal to try and meet the calories, and I have NEVER been a calorie counter. It doesn't take long to enter a day in and you can even copy foods to other days!

I also like weighing in with them, you type your weight in and every week change it and see your progress! It's really exciting and I look forward to friday weigh ins! I didn't think I lost anythig but typed in my measurements and had significantly lost since last Jan '10 when I started the wedding weight loss mission! I was so excited to see those results! I've been on this fitness kick since!

Ya know how they say eat on a smaller plate? Yeah it works. I have been cutting out seconds for 3 weeks and haven't been seriously exercising and the 10 pounds came right off.

Ya know how they say 6 small meals a day. That's my other suggestion. It really does become habbit if you really hold yourself to it!

Breakfast: Oatmeal

Breakfast Snack: Yogurt

Lunch: 2 egg whites on a bagel thin (the pack of bagel thins lasts a while just eating 1/2 a day)

Lunch Snack: A fruit or veggie

Dinner: A salad wrap w/ chicken

Things like that! They also have special k crackers (you get 17 for 90 calories) out that you can dip in hummus or salsa. (2 tbsp is plenty and is a great serving size for dips so you don't over eat.) They also have special k chips, you can have 30 for 110 calories so if you love potatoe chips this is a better option. I cut that in 1/2.

I think it was the inches that I lost that just sent me going strong! But either way I'm here for you girls if I can help in any other way! Dieting sucks but eating the 6 small meals I haven't been hungry. It keeps me on my toes. Also keep drinking that water! I even splurge and type in the foods! Just make sure if your getting that chinese food you sample everything and only fill a plate don't pile it on, wait....your stomach WILL tell you it's hungry it just needs a minute!

HTH someone on the board! :-D Miss you girls bye!!
