Baby Sister is coming soon!
Shes getting married at treehouse point http://www.treehousepoint.com/ We will be staying on the grounds for the weekend.. So going from there to get ready. I know nothing about Seattle.. My sister actually lives in North Carolina and her fianc? is from New Zealand... they chose Seattle so that all his friends and family coming in could be more near Vancouver and the West Coast to make the most of their vacation instead of coming to the states for the 1st time and being in Cincinnati : )
And because of our lovely immigration system (don't get me started!!) he's stuck in NZ until right before the wedding so I'm going with her in April for taste testings, etc and want to have some places in mind for hair and makeup.
Cool! I emailed my friend who DOC's out there and also got married in Issaquah for some more recs for you.
While you are there, you must go to Paseo it's not realy close to where you are staying (there is one in Fremont or one in Ballard) but they have the BEST sandwiches I have ever eaten in my life. And the beans and rice is amazing. It's little and low key - cash only. Closed on Sundays and Mondays, they run out of bread for sandwiches on Friday and Saturday nights and on Saturday afternoon expect to wait in a long line (if you call ahead you can go to the front of the line). It's amazing though!
Gene Juarez is a very popular salon out there, I am sure there is one in Issaquah or at least one nearby in Bellevue or Redmond. I am positive they would do hair and makeup, but it's probably on the pricier side.
I'll get back to you on some other ideas
Anything else you need besides hair and makeup?
