Aunt Flow is late
Aunt Flow is late... where the heck is she??? I am NOT TTC, I am on the pill. But normally I am only a day or two off, but four? Only reason I am worried, is because I have been on so much meds lately that makes me wonder if it messed up my period. Like voided it out or something. And my breasts have been very sore lately.... which isn't normal...
I bought 2 tests from the dollar store yesterday. And took one, it was negative. But, it was at night, not in the morning... does that matter? Does it matter if it is from the dollar store?
Just getting a little worried for obvious reasons. I want children, but just not right now... but I understand things happen. With my knee surgery my tibia bone totally won't heal for like another 4 to 6 months according to the doctor. I am just worried about gaining weight with my knee...

That sucks. Sending not preggers vibes your way. I would test again in the morning since that is when the pregnancy hormone levels are supposed to be the most concentrated.
BC can cause you to skip periods though and stress as well.

I experienced the same thing last month, on BC, using condoms and had missed period. I've never been late and been on the pill years. I took a test and it was negative. For whatever reason, my body decided to wait 10 days past my usual start date and then start spotting for a week.

As you said, the meds can make your period late, or even skip it entirely. Just because AF doesn't arrive, doesn't mean you ovulated. And I think stressing about it is only going to mess your body up more, you know? The test was negative, and you're already 4 days late, so if you were pregnant, I can't imagine that you wouldn't get a BFP (that was a poorly structured sentence, forgive me).

Having the surgery you did can eff with your cycle, with my last knee surgery I skipped and I was on the pill.
I'm late too if it makes you feel any better... with BFN's now for a week WTF.
Oh, and if you want to retest do it with first morning urine which would have a higher concentration of HCG in it.
We are only using the pill. We used to use condoms, but I would get a yeast infection almost a week after we had sex. Like repeatedly! So we stopped using condoms.
I hope it comes before 10 days, that would just mess with my head being late that long! Sometimes it is so annoying to have a female body, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want a penis if you paid me! BUT, I hate that our bodies are so sensitive!
I bought a digital test to take tomorrow morning, so I will let you guys know! Thanks so much for your help!
