Flood Update

Well, it took about 6 hours, but we got all the water out late last night. We woke up to snow today too, which was no fun.

The adjuster called us this afternoon and was here within the hour. He was SO nice, he called people to call us to come over and finish cleaning, he said to take our time making lists and explained to us how all the processes work.

Now, I am making all the lists and trying to clean everything out of my kitchen and put it in garbage bags since it's unsalvageable anyways.

Good news- About 1/2 of my pictures were saved and my wedding dress doesn't look horrible.

Thanks for all your good thoughts and concerns, they really do mean alot.

I'm so glad that everything went well today.  Glad that at least half the pictures survived...maybe more when everything dries??

That's great news! I'm glad the adjuster is really nice and isn't giving you in trouble. So happy to hear you were able to salvage some of your pictures and wedding dress.

great news!  hopefully more things will be able to be saved if they dry out ok... glad to hear the process with the adjuster was pleasant and easy.

I missed the first post. I'm sorry your place flooded. I hope everything gets back in order quickly. Floods suck when I was a kid we came back from a family vacation to our home flooded.
