Re: FFFC/AWF
I'm getting some waxing done in March, and I'm terrified. I've never had my brows - or anything else - waxed before, and I have no idea what to expect. And I'm a big sissy about stuff that hurts [even though labor was a breeze for me...you'd think I'd be less terrified of things hurting after having a baby], so I'm psyching myself up to go through with the waxing.
I think I mentally checked out at lunch. I just want to sit outside and enjoy the sun.
Don't really have anything AW-worthy, except that I set up trips to go to Colorado, Myrtle Beach and Vegas this past week [all in different months]. I'm just praying I have enough vacation for all of them. :P
Waxing will sting a little the first few times then you will get used to it. When I started going to my hair person; the 1st time she waxed my eyesbrows she was shocked that I didn't flinch or anything. It is kind of like 2nd nature to me now since I have to get my eyebrows waxed atleast 1x a month.

I worked 4 10's this week and my company is giving us Monday off for President's Day (random) SOO... 4 day weekend!!! Holler!
I woke up early and ran for the first time in MONTHS, cleaned the entire house, and designed an album for a client. Tonight DH and I are going to Cafe 7 with some other couples and then going ice skating... which I haven't done in yeeears. Hooray for the weekend!
FFC: I have a blankie that I sleep with every night. I haven't been able to find it since Saturday! I washed our sheets and it somehow disappeared. And the confession part is that it's really stressing me out! I've had a very stressful, busy week with school and work, and not having my blankie has made it even more stressful. It's kind of embarrassing how dependant I am on a thin piece of cloth (seriously thin, like see through, holey thin and would probably not make it through 2-3 more washes)... So I plan on completely cleaning our entire house tomorrow morning until I find it.

I have one, too! My mom's best friend made it and gave it to me the day I was born. I've slept with it since then. When I don't have it, it bugs me and I don't sleep well. When I travel, it goes with me. I often wonder if I should cut it in half and put half of it in our safe just incase our house should ever burn down or get blown away by a tornado, because I would be a basketcase without it. I just can't bring myself to cut it, though. I love my blanket.
Sometimes I get annoyed when my sister and I are both with my mom because I want her undivided attention...and I can't have it. I am aware that this makes me a brat.
Sometimes I wish I could go to my parents house and spend a week without kid/husband so I could enjoy dinners, errands, and TV time with them again like I did in high school.
I really want to get drunk tonight. Like sloppy, hangover drunk. Drunk sex...mmm.
I haven't cooked once this week. I am considering another night of take out if H doesn't throw a fit. I have chicken but no desire to cook it, and it's not going to cook itself.
I visited a daycare today that was just really awesome. I toured one previously that made me worry if I would even be okay with sending my kid to daycare. I've been really 'chill' about the whole baby thing - it was planned -, but now seeing those babies and the nice daycare I am really excited.
AW: Thursday, the person in charge of the school talent show (who is driving me nuts, btw) point-blank asked me if I thought I could do it better. Instead of going off on her, which is what I wanted to do, I diplomatically explained that if I did the talent show, I wouldn't necessarily do it "better," but that I would just do it differently, because we are two people who run programs in two very different ways. Then she wanted examples...sheesh. Other teachers were very proud of my diplomatic answer when I told them, because they've heard me b!tch and moan for over a week about this thing.
FFFC: I really, really want to see the above person fall flat on her face with the talent show. I'm not the only one she drives nuts. Anyone that has had to deal with her for more than 5 minutes can't stand her. Thank god she's not a "real" employee and is just a sub.
AWF (saturday actually): I sent off for my certification for my profession on Thursday! That means in about 3-4 weeks I will be fully certified! Mainly, no supervisor to sign all my paperwork AND a raise! I'm so excited!!
FFFC: This year has sucked so far. We had some major trouble with one of our cars, it's been in the shop about 2 weeks so far (just with this latest incident) and will probably be there another week. That has practically drained any amount of money we've saved. I've been sick so much I've used almost half of my PTO. The cherry on top of these *fabulous* 1.5 months? H wrecked (not his fault, thankfully) my parents car this week. He is ok, thank goodness. The other driver (at fault) didn't have insurance, though! My parents did have uninsured motorist, so I think everything will be ok. (pity party over!)
FFFC: **DD** I decided I didn't want any association with that stuff.
