Wohoo, it's the weekend! What is everyone's plans? And who has Monday off?

Re: TGIF!

  • We are moving this weekend, well DH is moving us this weekend.  Figures it's supposed to rain the weekend we planned this.  But DH has a 4-day weekend he has today and Monday off as well.  I don't have either off, but I'm thinking about possibly taking it off anyway since I have a Dr. appt. and have to leave early anyway.

  • Tonight: IL's are watching DD and we get to go on a date! I am very excited. Tomorrow, dh is letting me sleep in. It's supposed to rain all day, so I think we will spend the day and afternoon just lounging around the house. That evening friends are coming over for dinner. Sunday: church and relax. Unfortunatly, I have to work on Monday. :(

  • I'm kinda late on this one :(  I had monday off- this weekend was good but busy.

Saturday was cleaning day and I had a fondue night with some friends for a bday. Sunday was church then cleaning and meeting with our pastor in a get-to-know-you type of session.  Then we went to dinner (we don't do that much anymore so it was a nice treat!), and had movie night. Monday was work at job #2, house cleaning, then I made dinner for some family members: Boeuf Bourgignon, twice-baked potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, Broccolini Scampii, and toblerone chocolate-dipped strawberries. That then cleanup took a LONG time but turned out well :)

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
