I just need to vent a little about work.

For every show, there is certain paperwork that has to be done each night.  We do timesheets for each crew member, plus a show report.  There is also stuff that is done for each run of shows (a labor estimate, and an equipment rental).  We are all responsible for making sure things are done correctly.

Tonight is the second time I've worked a show after my boss (she worked last night, i work tonight), and opened the timesheets to find that they weren't filled in.  And, she sent the equipment rental to the client with missing information!  If I did any of these things, she would have my hide!  But, since she's the boss, and angers easily, I just have to fix her mistakes and look the other way.

Grrr....

How annoying. 

Just because she's the boss, she shouldn't think she doesn't have to follow the rules.

It really bothers me when a boss believes they are above the rules - rules they usually set.  My team recently got a speech about how we need to be sure to communicate with each other when we're not in the office.  Guess who NEVER tells any of us when she's leaving, where she's going and how long she'll be gone.  Now if one of us was to simply disappear....

but why should you fill it in if it's something she was supposed to do? do you have all the information? how annoying!
