Shipping Question

I have to send a fleece blanket & smaller fleece pillow to a relative in Northwestern Ohio. In your experience, if I have my own box..who is the cheapest to ship through: ups, fedex, or the post office? I will say that I sent my last package with the post office & the price was okay (but it was a small item). For the flat rate shipping, the size of the box that I would need (if I used the post office provided box) would cost me $20something dollars I believe. I'm not sure if I bring my own box to ups if the price would be a lot cheaper considering my items wouldn't weight too much. What do you think?

Re: Shipping Question

  • I would definitely bring your own box and ship with the USPS. I dont have much experience with Fedex or UPS but I've shipped quite a few things through the post office and shipping a fleece blanket and pillow shouldnt be very expensive. Those flat rate boxes are great when you are shipping things like heavy text books and stuff like that but such a small, light package should be pretty cheap. HTH!
