Container Garden

Hello!

I would love to start a container garden, but have no idea where to start. I live in CT and we have a great three season porch. I would love to have it filled with some wonderful blooming plants along with some vegetables. Any tips would be very helpful! Thanks!

Re: Container Garden

  • Google the ag extension for your state.

Walking through a nursery should give you some ideas. There used to be some good nurseries in Litchfield if you are looking for more unique stuff.

I have small lemon and lime trees that I keep outside in the summer and bring in for the winter. As long as it stays above 50 in your 3 season room you could leave them there year round. Same with a large rosemary plant.

    I would grow veggies outside.
