Where'd the weekend go?
Seriously, I need a weekend to relax from the weekend. I feel like the last several weeks, our weekends have been more busy than our weeks. Friday was my Mom's birthday, so after work we went out to dinner with the family and didn't get home until about 10pm because there was a long wait. Then Saturday we were having Jason's birthday party, so I spent all day cleaning/shopping/cooking/decorating to prepare for that. We had about 15 people packed into our little apartment, so this morning I spent about 2 hours just trying to clean up and put the place back together. Three people who spent the night decided they wanted to hang out all day, so I was playing hostess and making breakfast/lunch for them, then after they left around 4 we went to go visit my Dad bc I had promised him earlier in the week we'd come over (little did I know I'd have such a nasty hangover all day). We just got home a little while ago, and whew, I need a really good nights sleep.
The only plans we have for this coming weekend is going down to Jason's grandmom's house for lunch on Saturday, and we've agreed that's all we are going to do. If anyone asks us to do something the answer is NOPE. I need a weekend of being in bed reading and taking naps.
What did you all get into this weekend? Did you have a nice relaxing weekend or was it busy busy busy?

I hear you on needing a weekend to relax from the weekend. I work on Saturdays, so my ONE day off Sunday is almost always spend on the go.
Today was going to be a lay around the house day, Did it happen....Nope, a friend called and was going to Sam's club and knew I'd been thinking about getting a card for them, so I said sure I'd meet her there and check it out and see if it would really save us money in the long haul...I was surprised at some of the prices, not bad for things were ALWAYS having to buy.
Mike's parents were in town so we went and did late lunch/ early dinner with them at this new burger place that just opened up called 5 guys burgers and fries...it was pretty good!! and then they came back to our place for a while....
Now it's almost bed time, and I still have laundry to do and other cleaning and all I want to do it sit and play online... I need another day off!
